Sevan Biçakçi's Jewelry Featured in Ocean's Eight

Last month Hollywood released Ocean's Eight, a comedy about a group of women who attempt to steal millions of dollars in jewelry from the annual Meta Gala. Full of a lovely female cast including Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway and Rihanna, Ocean’s Eight offers a fun night out reminiscent of the past Ocean’s films.

The film’s union of humor and fashion has recently made this film a hot topic. Cate Blanchett's character sports edgy yet captivating gems by world-renowned designer, Sevan Biçakçi. A talented craftsman from Istanbul, Biçakçi creates unique jewelry that illuminates the layered culture of his homeland. Although his jewelry is perhaps not as eye-catching as the Cartier jewels in the film, they do make for a more interesting and unique look!
