    Stories of the Past

Inspired by the jewelry of the French West Indies and the craftsmanship of India, and informed by her twelve years as a fashion editor for Elle Magazine Paris, Marie Lichtenberg has created an unparalleled collection of eighteenth century-inspired lockets and charms made from 14k and 18k gold, hand engraved and set with precious stones and bright enamels. They hang on a variety of fine chains, beads and silk threads inspired by the Creole jewelry her family has worn for generations in Martinique. Her designs are interchangeable, playful, and include delightful touches like opening doors and uplifting messages. She describes her pieces as “time capsules, a story of the past and a promise to bear witness to the future.”
